How long is each session?
One hour! This time includes a brief introduction, coaching, as many games as you can play, and a group photo.
When you get close to the end of your session, we also offer the option to extend your time by 30 minutes (subject to availability).
If you would like to book a two-hour session, select your first time slot then click “Add to Booking” on the next screen to select an adjacent time slot.
Please note that the duration shown when booking includes an extra 15 minutes for check-in.
How much does it cost?
$60 per target per hour (or $15/pp for a group of four throwers).
Social Throw is $20 per person.
What if I want to book more than 4 targets?
We can certainly accommodate larger groups. Send us a message via our Events page and we’ll get to work planning!
What is the difference between the North Range and West Range?
The North and West Ranges are on separate-facing walls of our facility, and are therefore not adjacent. The two Ranges also offer different time slots.
When booking a 1 Target or 2 Target reservation, you are free to pick either one.
Is there a maximum number of participants?
If you reserve a target, it can accommodate up to four participants. This is to ensure everyone has enough throwing time. You can also reserve multiple targets at the same time for larger groups.
If your required number of targets is not available, you also have the option to add up to two extra throwers per target on the checkout page.
For Social Throw, there is a limit of two people per booking.
Is there an age requirement?
If you can throw an axe and are over the age of 16, you are welcome to play! However, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Guests under 16 are not allowed to throw. All guests must have a valid photo ID.
Please keep in mind that if a member of our staff doubts the ability of any participant to throw an axe, he or she will not be able to participate.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing, but high heels and open-toe shoes are not allowed. We do have Converse sneakers available to rent for $5 per pair. And you can keep the socks! Please note that we have a limited number of sneakers and they may go quickly, particularly in the summer months.
Will I receive any training?
Of course! Most of our guests are new to axe throwing, so your experience will begin with a brief introductory lesson on the sport's rules and proper technique. Trust us, you'll get the hang of it in no time!
Should we tip our throwing coach?
Our coaches work hard to give you the best possible experience, so tipping is always appreciated!
Do you allow walk-ins?
Yes, we do! But to ensure availability, we strongly recommend making your reservation ahead of time by booking on our Reserve page.
Will my targets be next to each other?
Yes, if you book multiple targets they will be directly adjacent, except in very rare circumstances.
What equipment do you provide?
We provide all axe throwing equipment. For safety reasons, guests are not allowed to bring their own.
Is it possible to rent the whole space?

How can I book a team building event?
From now until September 30, 2019, you can easily book your weekday team building event on our Events page!
A 90-minute event is only $25 per person (minimum charge applies). This time includes all coaching, as many axe throwing rounds as you can throw, and a group photo. BYOB and merchandise can be added at checkout. The maximum group size that can be booked online is 30 guests. For groups that exceed 30 guests, fill out our event inquiry form here.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your team building event, with the remaining balance due two weeks prior to the event date. At that time, the deposit is nonrefundable. For events within two weeks of the booking date, the full balance will be due upon booking.
Do you serve food or drinks?
We do not, but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages (see below for our BYOB policy)! Our neighbors at Hog River Brewing Co. also frequently have a food truck on-site. Their schedule can be found here!
Can I bring alcohol?
Yup, we are BYOB! Beer, wine & spiked beverages (seltzers, teas, ciders, etc.) only. No hard stuff! There is a 2 drink limit per guest while on-site.
BYOB is $3/pp and can be added to your booking by simply clicking “+BYOB” in your cart.
But wait! BYOB is free if you bring in a growler of Hog River beer. Just show them your booking email confirmation to get a special growler cap to bring with you!
Please note: consumption of cans and/or growlers inside Hog River is not permitted per regulations, and cider cannot be purchased in growlers.
Is it safe?
Axe throwing is just as safe as any other adventure activity of a similar kind. When everyone respects the rules and safety measures, there is very little chance of injury.
Can my friends come to watch?
Your friends can come cheer you on, but we do have a limit of two spectators per target. Any additional guests are welcome to hang out in our lounge.
Can we take pictures and videos?

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, we do! You can purchase digital ones by clicking the "Gift Certificates" tab on our Reserve page.
Physical gift cards are also on sale in our facility.
How do I use my gift certificate / voucher?
If you have an electronic gift certificate (usually sent via email), simply enter it on the final checkout page by clicking “Pay By: Gift Certificate” at the top of the screen.
If you have a physical (plastic) gift certificate OR a voucher code, enter it when selecting the date & time of your booking by clicking “Apply Promo or Voucher”.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) as well as cash.
What is your cancellation policy?
Changes and cancellations are required at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled match start. After that time, bookings are non-refundable.
Please note, this policy does not apply to hosted events. For more information on event planning, contact us!
Inclement weather policy: customers may reschedule or cancel their reservation within the 48-hour window with no penalty during cases of inclement weather. For cancellations, customers will be issued a gift certificate for the full value of their booking. If our facility closes due to inclement weather, refunds will automatically be issued and all affected customers will be notified via an email or phone call.
